That sucks.  I would have just returned that whole thing to amazon for a refund or exchange at that point.

I don't regret getting it, It's fun to play with and it's a toy!

I'll be up and printing a week no problem..

I got it cause i have always wanted one and it's something i could afford and i had the cash at the time to get it!

That is very cool SeeJay, when will you be taking orders?  I would like a holder/tray to attach to my cutter stand that would hold spare knife, pen, ruler, etc.

From an idea to design to a part on a bike

My daughter wanted her old Basket for her old bike on her new bike, but it covered the reflector, so i made a new bracket to hold the reflector lower :)

I even used my new Tap and Die set for the screws :)

Well it was a sad day,

I just returned my 3d printer to amazon,

after waking up this morning to try print something, and the computer didn't recognize the printer, and i hit the reset button on the cpu and nothing i coudn't get the computer to see the printer no more

so after breaking twice in 1 1/2 months i'm going to save up for a better one i think.  I had till May 2nd to return it.. and i don't need a $700 paper weight!  :(

so.. note to self you always get what you pay for this printer was like the MH Cutter just a value printer and it was just that had as much problems as a MH lol ..

But, you got invaluable hands on practice and now have

a good idea of what 3D printing is all about....and a

better idea of what equipment you need to make

this profitable.

Not purely wasted time....and your money back too!

Same exact principle there .....You get what you pay for.....This is one of those $500 ebay models with another $1000 in upgrades

Dang yea that sucks. 3d printing does sound fun but also seems like I would get bored of it real quick haha

Macon , why did you have to add upgrades?
