Renee S 3 Posted December 6, 2014 I'm curious. I've seen the videos on how to apply designs to metal or stainless water bottles. How do you do this to plastic without using heat? I currently use vinyl and hate it because the vinyl is easily damaged. Is this screenprinting, or ...? Searching youtube shows large volume operations which doesn't apply to me. I've attached an example of what I'm trying to get to.
pshawny 410 Posted December 6, 2014 A lot of times custom drinkware is pad printed. I've seen large UV printers used too. Vinyl is definitely the easiest for low quantity, but like you said, the durability is lacking compared to other methods.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted December 6, 2014 I agree that is pad printed but we had a lot of stuff pad printed on plastic drinkware for inside the prison - it still is only good for a year maybe - you could always mask with vinyl and paint for low qty
