101LEDs 100 Posted September 12, 2014 To scale something in a picture a few things are truly needed, but for what your asking the basics will do. You have to know the size of something in the picture already. Like how he was using the stripe, says it's 12 feet and uses that as his reference. (It was not 12' btw.) Arrange>resize>enter values is how he got there I think, but the main thing is having a known size to plug in. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dwp99 283 Posted September 12, 2014 Just to add to what 101LEDs said when taking a measurement off of what you are going to scale, the longer the measurement the more accurate the scaling. So in other words if you are doing the side of a van use the wheelbase or distance between the front and rear bumpers rather than a window. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
