boosted 2 Posted April 5, 2010 I saw some where a while ago that there is a way to convert or add a laser to the pcut. I'm thinking of trying to find a laser that will fit in the forward most blade holder. anyone done this?
CRD 9 Posted April 5, 2010 Yes, I modified a ZUND cutting machine. You have to find a laser pointer that has a laser spot of around 1 mm diameter when it hits the vinyl. If the laser beam is to strong the light will disintegrate if you are watching it. If you have a real Pcut, USCUTTER was selling some carriage arms that was equipped with the original laser pointer. Price was 25 $. You can ask them if they still stock. For that price I would not take the hassle to make it yourself. Paco

Uscutter lists two styles under the pcut/laserpoint, type A and B.
