So I bought this guy second hand and it'd been sitting in a garage for a good while. When I got it home and setup, I realized that at some point mice had made a home in the side panels. They chewed through a few of the different wires. Before I could do anything, I had to replace the fuse line, but that got it working(ish). The control panel still needed work, but for the time being I could run it with default settings. Recently I finally got around to buying a replacement screen, 16 pin cable, and a 14 pin cable and got to work on the display. The control panel works now; however, the display is still not working. It turns on, but only if the connection to the motherboard is just right, and the screen is completely black aside from a single solid line through the middle. I'm at a standstill on it now. I can't think of anything else. Anyone have any ideas? P.s. it is the same whether the USB is connected or not, and I've tried every port and two other laptops all running windows 10.

Hey guys, how are you? I'm mad already... well the thing is: I have a graphtec CE5000 and its display is a mess cause it’s showing some weird characters, and I’m almost sure it’s not a language... We were using the plotter at the company, but today I had a non related issue with it and I did a hard reset I’ve just begun to work with signs, vinyls, etc and I can’t work anymore As you guys know, Brazil has absurd prices because of its messed up politics, and that’s why I’d need someone to help me... If we can’t reach to a point where I can fix the display, at least I’d want to change the settings based on someone’s else video of settings, idk... Thanks

Craft Show in Des Moines this weekend we attended.... Our Booth.

Figured I would share since everyone likes to see!!!.. We attended a craft show this weekend, which in attendance between the 3 days we had over 12,000 people. Our "Table" rent was just under 450$ for the weekend which we easily made up between myself and my sister's "sister" company A&W Home Decor (silk florals, wreaths etc.)... The company that puts on this show also locks in exhibitors over years times, so basically there is no chance of getting another "vinyl" person in the doors to steal away my business, kind of a captive audience. There is one other guy that does similar work- but he only provides pre-made items, and offers custom orders via mail as well as printed light switch plate covers (just covers which are laminated with a wrap essentially) I snapped a few pics of the booth, and we're working on exact numbers yet on how well we did for sure. Take a look!
