    Can you sub on canvas

I am opening a boutique next month and my business partner wants to offer canvas wall prints, sublimated ceramic tiles etc.. we are looking at the saw grass GS800. Does anyone know if it will work on canvas? and the ceramic tiles will be placed on the floor so will they hold up to normal everyday wear and cleaning or can they be sealed with something to make them more wear resistant. Thanks in advance for anyone's help.
  2. Dear US Cutter community, I am a fine artist making rather detailed airbrush paintings on canvas. I prime the canvas super smooth so it's like paper -- and use PH neutral artist tape to create my own stenciling. Lately I have been wanting to do detail I can't achieve with tape alone -- so I'm looking into getting a table-top US Cutter Titan 3 to do fine detail stencil work. The main concern I have is the material -- I would like to be able to cut out of something that has a PH neutral/low tack adhesive that won't affect the surface of my work. Something that won't be too stick and potentially pull up some paint already on the canvas, or leave a subtle glue residue behind. I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts on this -- if you want to see samples of my work to get a sense of what it's like you can look at my website -- www.averyksinger.com I am also attaching a photo to this thread of something I am looking to achieve with the Titan 3/custom stenciling. I produced this part of the painting by cutting a stencil with a laser cutter -- and some thin (1/16" thick) plexiglass. It works OK for me but honestly -- the depth of the plexi gets in the way of the paint application, so I really need to use something flat. Thanks so much, I really appreciate your time. Best, Avery

    Printing Question...

i am looking to expand, im just doing small jobs but i would like to start saving up and buying new equipment, i am want to be able to print on yard signs, rather then vinyl 150 of them... both sides.... and i would also like to print on license plantes, (i guess dye sub is what its called) but what i really want is to be able to print on a canvas... kinda like a what artist use to paint on. and i would like to print posters to. i have no clue where to ever start. i have been looking at Epson Stylus Pro 7880. or is there somthing smaller that i can just do yard signs on, and maybe get somthing better later? any pointers would be greatly appriciated.
