I am a bit confused by this, I have the Roland GX-24 and am using CutStudio to try and do some contour cutting. The issue is that after the cutter has found and scanned all 3 contour points, it just decides not to cut anything, with no error message or anything. I am unsure of what I am doing wrong and would love some help. I have attached a video for reference. Thank you! IMG_0296.MOV

Yes I did, at least through the CutStudio "Extract Contour Lines", even in the print preview I can see the lines.

Here is where I am at right now I have an image ready to be sent to the printer, I send it with SignCut Pro (I have also tried Cutting Master 2), and the cutter just does that thing in the video. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am still looking at the manual, and maybe I have to adjust settings on the cutter? I already changed it so the cutter can take signals from software not made by GraphTech, but that's about it. Everything else in the manual I really do not understand (I am trying to set this up for my dad)

I finally fixed it, it was just an origin position problem. Thank you all for your help, I definitely now know where to start for any more questions

Hey everyone, my dad recently saved up enough money to finally buy a used Graphtec CE3000-60. He has been an artist his whole life and really wants to get into vinyl cutting but for the life of me I can not figure out how to set up this thing (neither can he, he is not very good with computers but does know Corel Draw) Anyway, I have two computers, one with Windows 7 and one with Windows 10. I prefer to set it up on the one with Windows 7. Here's some of my questions: Because it's an older model, will it even work on Windows 7/10? Can I use CorelDraw to make it print something? Do I need extra software that adds onto Corel Draw? What file is recognized by this printer? How can I make sure that the computer recognizes it as a printer? Will I even be able to use Corel Draw x8 Academic version for printing? (The website says the Cutting Master 2.0 only supports up to x7 but idk...) and my biggest one... How do I set it all up? I just really need a step by step, or at least a simplified version of the general things I need to do. Any help would be appreciated, I have been struggling with downloading programs and drivers for a couple of days and still no luck with figuring it out. Thank you all again!

yes, when I test cut it makes a perfect square with a triangle inside

So pretty much, right now I have connected my cutter to my computer, and it is recognized by Sign Cut Productivity Pro 1 AND Cutting Master 2.0. I use corel draw to make an image and import it to SignCut PP1 as an AI file, and a PLT file for Cutting Master 2 (The image uses vectors). I also changed the setting on my printer to be able to use hardware not made from Graphtec. The problem right now is that when I click "cut out" on SignCut, the cutter just cuts a straight line down the vinyl and nothing else. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Is there other settings that I have to adjust? I just do not understand why the program recognized the cutter, is able to send an image to it to cut, but the cutter just makes a straight line cut until the vinyl roll is out.

Thank you guys for all your help. Right now I am trying Sign Cut pro, and it detects my cutter! I still have yet to test it because I don't even know how to use the machine, but when I figure it out with my dad, I will definitely update you. Again appreciate everyone!

Right now I have Corel Draw X8 Academic trial version, I will be buying the full version if I can actually get the cutter to work. But other than that I don't have any other software
