  1. I actually did a temp fix on the wobble the best I could and it kinda sorted it, but then when I tried a cut on some regular text it wasn't aligning again! When using an over cut less than maybe 0.1 the lines don't join, even if they line up. Wildgoose, I'm thankfull for your replys
  2. It's 0.5 I think. Also check this out. This surly can't be right..can it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kxKUwCNW-I
  3. JayBird, could you show me photos of the places to check please?
  4. This is with the pen. Assuming the offset would be 0 I tried with a lead in also and still the same thing is happening. Please notice the change when the design has been rotated!
  5. Thanks Wildgoose, I've spoke to Signcut a bunch of times and they've been great but they seem to think it could be a loose blade which I told them about. I did try a few other cutting programs and goign to try Flexi this week. I will upgrade Signcut and see what happens from there. If anyone has other suggestions I will try them!
  6. I've checked the drawings over a few times, but I have attached the part that has the most mistakes when I try to cut... I have used Illustrator and saved it as a Illustrator 8 file for compression but you can still check the lines. Thanks for the replys redi.ai
  7. I have given them a good tighten and it doesn't seem to have made a difference
  8. I am using the Cto-630 machine with Signcut Pro and been having real problems with cuts not aligning, especially on inner parts of cuts, not really on the outer parts of a design. I have the offset set to the best settings for corners and getting it pretty sharp results. For a experiment I set the offset to 0 and with the purple vinyl photo, the cut came out perfect, but maybe that is because it has no precise angles? After checking the belts were tight and the blade was the correct amount out of the holder, I have found that the blade sits slightly loose in the bearings of the holder and has a bit of a wobble, could this be part of the problem. The blade holder parts of the machine could be tighter too I think. Thanks in advance.
  9. I have had simular problems with this. I had to use 0.035 to get my offset correct (which seems ridiculous), although I'm having problems all over again.

New to Vinyl from the UK

Hi everyone! My name is Charlie. I'm from the UK and pretty new to vinyl sign making. (I know there's a UK board, but this one seems to get more attention!) I bought myself a Pcut CTO-630 plotter to test the water and really enjoying it. I'll be posting about a problem I have in another section of the board, if anyone can help I would appreciate it so much! Thanks in advance!
