Dat ain't no Big Belly, that's a gas tank for a sex machine

No, you should not use the oven that you use to cook food in, get a small tabletop convection oven.
-
Or the Vector Doctor, he does great work.
-
Firstly, are you sure that the Tumblers are coated with a polyester coating for sublimation? I do them in a dedicated convection oven, using shrink wrap from Coastal. You also may want to bump up the time in the press. It takes about 6 minutes in a convection oven.

Cutting Flock for Rhinestone Jig Pattern
mfatty500 replied to Wkdemers1's topic in MH Series Vinyl Cutters
I own the HFE, no subscription for me. The ACS is old, but it was the best option at the time. It made us a lot of money. HFE, like stated is about the only software that works with my Spangle machine. A lt of people don't like it, (me included at times) sometimes it will crash when doing some simple tasks, it drives me nuts. But I've learned to live with it. -

It's an older program, I think thru CadLink, we got it back in 2008, I don't know if they even make it anymore. I also have the TRW, that you use thru Corel Draw, but I don't use it much. As I stated, I use Hot Fix Era, because it's all that works with my Spangle machine. -

For Rhinestone work I use ACS, along with either Flexi or Corel Draw, it's old though, I don't know if they even make it any more. For my Spangle machine I use Hot Fix Era, I think I could use it for rhinestone work but, I don't do as much rhinestone work anymore, compared to Spangles. -

I own a Graphtec also, but I would think that cutter would cut flock, just make a couple of passes when cutting. I have to make 2 passes when I cut flock. -

Is the blade carriage tight against the rail? Are the proper sections made for the blade in which you are using, such as Condition etc. -
Sign Outlet Store, in Lisle, Ill

You could try shrink wrap from coastal, or any place that sells sublimation supplies, and a convection oven. That's what I use for the tumblers that are all over the internet
-
Howards for me also, or I make mine on my white toner printer
-
What is the material made of? There a few other options in the Siser line that make work..
-
Who ever she got the substrates from should have the templates. Coastal, Conde, just to name a few. And remeber that you can't use most things from Wally World or the dollar stores, they need to have the proper poly coating in order to sublimate

What is causing my letters to have these spots in them??
mfatty500 replied to jab73180's topic in General Help
Un-group the text and weld each individual letter that is like that, & then weld ALL of it together (the text), must be something funky going on with the font. Must be a free one. -
Brush Script & Cooper Black are the fonts
-
That sounds like those papers are for a White Toner Printer, such as an OKI, or Uninet printer. The Uninet printer has sublimation toner to use for purpose.
-
Inkscape is free also
-
I'd say three layers max. after that you no longer get the vinyl adhesive down into the garment.
