wildgoose thanks for the great advice first off! so far I have imported and image from signtorch (german Shepherd) and his work is flawless from some of the other stuff I have seen. when u say 2 color image can u give me an example? so I know exactly what you mean? and how do I lock an Image on corel draw?

I started intermediate laserpoint 2. fedex tracking said it was suppose to arrive Wednesday then today now it says tomorrow so lets hope!

thanks wildgoose definitely will start with the pen! I bought paper bc I planned to do some sketch style designs for an art friend to use as a paint scheme so I will try that first and see how it goes!

What is everyone using for stencil on there etches? does normal everyday vinyl work or does the etching gun remove it?

is any one using the student edition of corel draw? and how is it working for you?

I spent a little extra up front and made sure computer was top notch 32gb of ram! never see any issues!

has anyone owned or used this machine? come to the conclusion and looks like the machine im gonna go with as my first cutter.... ive researched and researched... ive read practically every thread on this site. I think im finally ready to make the purchase and get started

im not trying to go that small yet! im starting as a hobbyist you never know where things go from there! so its definitely a great starter machine? im definitely looking at he 50 inch!

Hey there just wanted to introduce my self! im new to the vinyl side of the industry but very familiar with graphic side! ive done tons of research for countless hours before deciding to join the vinyl side of this hobby! looking forward to see what it brings to my knowledge and how I can expand what I do! definitely looking for positive pointers to help this knowledge on top of the tons of research and reading topics on this forum I have done!

how is it running on windows 8? im highly trained on windows 8 so it being new isn't a factor for me I just wanna know the quality of how rhe machine runs! I can always down grade to a windows 7 but I like windows 8

im gonna try it on windows 8 im a Microsoft consultant for best buy worst comes to worse geek squad can fix me up haha!

I do have one question is anyone using a cutter on windows 8? or any of the softwares?
