    SIGNCUTX2 Serial number ?

Purchased a new U S cutter plotter back in 2007 or 2008. Never installed my SigncutX2 software as my old software (Gerber) worked just fine. Here it is 2015 and I need to use the SigncutX2 software that came with my plotter and after the install its asking for the serial number. All of my documentation is long gone and I don't see the number on the disc nor sleeve. Don't think I ever registered the software as I was not using it. What can we do ? Thanks.

    Gerber Omega 1.56CL

:) Nah, don't have time to make money with it as I own a busy auto repair shop and a sprint car that my 17 year old drives plus I have interest in a micro sprint and a midget race team..... Only have a plotter for lettering the race cars and personal use as I got tired of paying the local sign guy's and being at their mercy and design skills. My first cutter was an Gerber Embosstrack 48 with the Omega 1:56 aquired for free when the city's sign shop updated their equipment,it broke a couple weeks ago and used parts are only avialable thru one source at a very premium price, thats why I purchased the us cutter and I couldn't be happier..

    Gerber Omega 1.56CL

:)     Well I am happy to report that 5 minutes out of the box, hooked my new us cutter up to my p.c. opened up Omega 1.56 opened up one of my files, set the device box to HPGL and started cutting. I'm so happyy I could just **** Not one single problem, works like a champ,no new software to learn or cut files to transfer to a new program...... YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WAY KEWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.....

    Gerber Omega 1.56CL

I'll keep ya up to date on the Omega but I'll bet it will be fine. That old Embosstrack was a good machine and probally worth fixing, but it was produced 15-20 years ago so only option is used parts. Heck that thing cost over 10 grand new with the Omega software, good thing I got it free from the city's sign shop ... I only cut stuff for mine and freinds Race cars and such, so it just did not make economical sense for me to invest in an outdated machine when I could get the us cutter delivered to my door for less than a new/used head for the embosstrack...

    Gerber Omega 1.56CL

I run Omega 1.56, not sure if it's CL, It's the only program I've ever used, I was running an old Gerber Embosstrack with it untill last week when one of the pinch arms broke and we had a head collision killing the sensor on the bottom of the knife head,Gerber dos not supply parts anymore and a Guy called The Plotter Doctor is about the only source for parts wants about $500 bills for a used head :'( :'( :'( :'( Soooooooo bought a US Cutter off ebay yesterday and am hoping that I can run it off Omega, guess we'll find out April 4th as thats when my new US Cutter is due in. I sure do not want to have to learn a new program. Omega was fairly easy to learn and I really like it.......
