PLUS , you can go " Squatchin " . My wifes always laughed at me watching that show " Finding BigFoot " or whatever the name isYea, not sure what that show was called, but that is funny, cause we do have the 'chasers' around these parts. Maybe one of these days they will get some footage. Not something I care to take part in.

Definately going old school - we have a gas grill we use all the time but wanted a charcoal grill also - after looking at a lot of them - ordered one of these - will take 2 weeks before shipment but think it will last a little while! anyone else have the heavy duty version? I figure buy it once and done.www.pilotrock.com/park_grills/premier_series.htm
Charcoal is the way to go. Propane is for wussies.

Seattle is nice, but the cost of living is not. Mild climate, but it rains bucket loads every week, year round, so you have to tolerate that. And traffic.

It's been 4 years do you think they're on par with Signwarehouse/Fellers now? I never would have seen that if it weren't for spammers.Well, since I left, they lost all chances of realizing that dream.
j/k Looks like they are still growing, and under new ownership, so even if they are behind pace, it could still be realistic.

Jay, I would go out on a limb and say that Ken knows more about the mh cutters than the person that designed it! He was the man back when he WAS uscutter support and forum advisor - single handed I might add- you always got an answer from him on here no matter what time of the day or night - it ls like he was up 24/7 for months at a time. he was the hardest working man to ever set foot in uscutters doorsYea, but it was very gratifying. Totally worth it.

Cut the design using Heat Press vinyl, and heat press apply to glove. My best guess.

I remember one of our original memebrs finding a way to do this as well with Flexi and the MH series. Might even be something still posted on how it was done.
Good stuff

Yep- Chinese low budget cutters do not quite have the QA standards of Roland or Graphtec- and this is also why they are priced much lower. The Chinese can be some silly little turds when putting these things together. I have even found mouse poop and chewed up wires on the inside of a new MH series cutter before. Glad you caught it, corrected it, and shared the solution!
Cheers!

Maybe a probelm with the file itself, and the way it was vectorized? File needs to be cleaned up perhaps, eleminating eroneous nodes.
Could just be some garbage in the cutter memory from the previous cuts as well. Never hurts to turn the cutter off and back on to clear the memory if it acts like this.

Yep, same machine and guts, just different sizes. Larger number means wider format cutter.
MH365: 12"
MH721: 24"
MH871: 32" (or was it 34"?- I forget)
-
When you plug the cutter in to the computer via USB, it will be assigned a COM port #. Once you find which COM port # is assigned to the connection, you simply select that COM port # in the cutter setup of SignBlazer.
It is not a printer as someone mentioned above, so it should never show up under Printers/ Devices using a driver. The cutting software itself has the cutter drivers, so just select the correct model in SB, and the correct COM port #, and you should be good to go.
Also, you should be able to save your CS5 .ai files to an older version, without having to switch back to the actual older version of the software.
Good luck

Sometimes the far pinch roller will get stuck on the screw preventing it from moving father to the side. If it is stuck, you can just pop it loose with a firm tap.
-
The top of the black blade holder should have gold and silver adjustment screws. Loosen the gold, then adjust blade depth with the silver, and then tighten the gold back down once adjusted.
-
Not familiar with the Pro 48 version of the Refine series, but the USCutter MH series worked fine by selecting the Roland PNC-1000 driver from the list in Flexi. No driver needed to be installed, Flexi already has this choice built in.
-
When you use the pen/ plotting attachment, and plot to paper, does it do the same thing? Could be the blade holder itself, or a loose carriage arm. Did you check to make sure the carriage is seated properly on the tracks?
-
Bad control panel, or loose wiring would be my first guesses. Could be wiring to the control panel itself, or to the motherboard. Also could be the motherboard shorting out if the pegs that hold her in place have snapped.

On the road again......
Willie Nelson is one of my favs!
More like Joe Diffe's "If the devil danced in empty pockets" after this repair though. :-\
