  1. Definately going old school - we have a gas grill we use all the time but wanted a charcoal grill also - after looking at a lot of them  - ordered one of these - will take 2 weeks before shipment but think it will last a little while!  anyone else have the heavy duty version?  I figure buy it once and done.

Charcoal is the way to go. Propane is for wussies.  ;)

  2. Jay, I would go out on a limb and say that Ken knows more about the mh cutters than the person that designed it!  He was the man back when he WAS uscutter support and forum advisor - single handed I might add- you always got an answer from him on here no matter what time of the day or night - it ls like he was up 24/7 for months at a time.  he was the hardest working man to ever set foot in uscutters doors

Yea, but it was very gratifying. Totally worth it.  ;D

  3. Yep- Chinese low budget cutters do not quite have the QA standards of Roland or Graphtec- and this is also why they are priced much lower. The Chinese can be some silly little turds when putting these things together. I have even found mouse poop and chewed up wires on the inside of a new MH series cutter before. Glad you caught it, corrected it, and shared the solution!

    Cheers!

  4. When you plug the cutter in to the computer via USB, it will be assigned a COM port #. Once you find which COM port # is assigned to the connection, you simply select that COM port # in the cutter setup of SignBlazer.

It is not a printer as someone mentioned above, so it should never show up under Printers/ Devices using a driver. The cutting software itself has the cutter drivers, so just select the correct model in SB, and the correct COM port #, and you should be good to go.

Also, you should be able to save your CS5 .ai files to an older version, without having to switch back to the actual older version of the software.

    Good luck
