Not the software- it is the cutter. Try using a little more downforce pressure, and less blade exposed. Cheers!

And if it does not drop away, you may need to pry the bottom a tad to get it started. Not sure if the Chinese turds still put the sticky crud on there too, or not.

Loose feed/ pinch rollers....would be my first guess without seeing it in action.

I thought the DGI OM-60 was already in Flexi, and did not need to be installed, yet just selected. You making sure you are looking in Vinyl Cutters, and not Printers for FS when selecting?

I know this is an older one, but nobody responded, so did you get it figured out?

Just in case you did fiddle with any of the settings, maybe uninstall and reinstall SBE

If you do some digging on this forum, you can find several pictures of the carriage with the face plate off.

Blade should barely be sticking out of the blade holder. How does it plot on paper with a pen?

Yea, 9-pin has always been more stable than USB, although many have never had an issue using USB so.... Do you have a desktop computer to use instead of your laptop? Maybe get a dedicated desktop with 9-pin for around $100, and use it only for the cutter.
