How do you know if something is grounded? will any of the screws on the cutter and table work?

I am not able to print anything longer than 3-4 feet. if the file for a 6 foot banner is sent to the cutter, it will start cutting and about 1/3 of the way through the design, it freezes up and i have to start all over. the only way i have been able to do large signs is by cutting up a 6 foot sign into 4-5 parts. any suggestions?

i had to reset it to 20/120. I have no idea what happened but those settings were all out of wack.

Hey Guys, our cutter is Not Cutting all the way through? We had it working and i can not think of anything i have changed. I have tried different depths of hte blade to show through but none seem to help. Every time i see the thin outline of the design but as we weed, everything comes up. it is not cutting all the way through. Once again, I have not changed anything and it just started happening. I put in a new blade today and it did not help. Clark

When we import a vector file it always shows up about 2 feet below the work place. Everytime i import the file, i have to go up to the top and zoom out 3 times, select the artwork and move it into the work space. How can i change the imports to show up already in the work space? I posted this under software but have not been able to get an answer.

i have attached the file i was using that had all the issues with the sections not getting cut all the way around. maybe someone can tell me if it is my artwork. all or most of the letters are not cut 100%. there are sections at the top of bottom of parts that when i go to weed, are not cut. any ideas/ Still a little confused about where the vinyl should start on the cutter. meaning, how far down should it hang? Should i hang it down to the ruler section or 1-2 inches past the blade. I did it at about 2 inches past the blade and when it started to cut, it came back up past that point and thought there was vinyl which there was not. any ideas on that? Just got my MH871 and i have run into some issues. need a little help. We are using Thermoflex Plus for heat transferring on to tee shirts. is there a difference in different color vinyls? i was doing okay and they switched over to white and have run into issues. not sure if it is me(most likely is) or something else. when i first start cutting, the vinyl is getting bunched up through the middle areas. any ideas? is there a spot i should put my rollers? right, left and middle? how far from the sized should i put them or not put them? Do i need to put some slack in the roll of vinyl or can it be tights all the way down to the roll and let the plotter unroll it as it cuts. when it was cutting on the white, it did not seem to be cutting all the way around an object. if i had a circle, it would cut 99% of the circle but i am then left to cutting the 1% myself. that is happening on almost every section. when i put in the vinyl, how much slack up front do i need? does it need to hang down to where the ruler is, half way, etc...? I put it out only 2 inches 1 time and the design pulled the vinyl back in and was cutting thin air.
