    cutter memory

Is it possible to increase cutter memory? What is the recommended upgrade size and where can I get it?
  2. I purchased a MH 712 plotter on February 16, 2007. I just received the vinyl and plotter paper yesterday. I am using the Signcraft software and runninf Windows XP as the operating system. The machine is connected to my computer using a USP, since I do not have a serial port of parrell port on my laptop. When I first pushed the test button on the plotter control panel it printed a square box with a diamond in the center of the box. When i connected it to the laptop and tried to print the signcraft template, and the pen moved from side to side continiously until i shut the plotter off. I tried rebooting the computer and then reset the plotter. Nothing corrected the problem. I then disconnected the plotter from the computer and again tried the test button on the plotter. Now the plotter makes alot of noise and prints lines and strange charecters. It never prints the same thing when I push the test button. please advise on how I can get this corrected.
  3. Billy, Thanks for the help. I will review the settings I have. However, I see where other pepole are having simmlar issues in another area of the forum. It appears that Marcel is working with them. IIf this does not correct the problem I will put a post on that page. Thanks again
  4. Billy, I tried to run the Sign-cut template last night and all it did was move the plotter pen from one side to the other. I am controlling the plotter using a USB conector. My lapto does not have a serial or parrell port.
  5. I am using the printer test program. I just push the test button on the plotter control panel.
  6. I just got the MH721 and set it up. The first time I pressed the test button the unit printed a 2" square with a diamond in the center. When I connected it to my computerand tried to print a test page, it would not do anything. I disconnected the printer from the computer. I tried a test page again and now I get all kinds of strange stuff and the rollers move erratically. Has antone experienced this problem and what do I need to do to correct it.
