Looking for some help. I am attempting to layer one intermidiate vinyl color on the top of another to apply on a metal sign blank...i have used the following methods each producing many bubles between the layers. I applied one layer on top of another layer using clear transfer tape prior to applying to the sign blank I applied one layer on top of the other with clear transfer tape after appling the first layer to the sign blank and after letting it dry...I applied the second layer dry. the clear transfer tape is also difficult to remove without the vinyl wanting to peel back with it. Any suggestions?

Is there anyone out there looking to tutor me on inkscape? I am willing to pay you for your time. I am new to it and want to learn quickly.

Could upload the file...here is a similar file. If i cut this one the the rectangle line will cut through the gulf logo. So the end product I am looking for is to have the retangle cut around the gulf logo to contour to it's shape and not exist behind the logo.gulfservice department420.eps

I am a newbie trying to learn quickly. I created a file with inkscape that I attached. I did not group anything or layer anything in the inkscape as I am just learning. When I cut in flexi I cut each color as single layer and cut three different colors red blue and yellow of the entire image. I would like to keep the rectangle in the background and the little guy in the front and would like the cut to be contour around the little guy rather then the line cutting through the little guy head. Can some one explain how this can be done?

I tried grouping everything together and it did not correct the issue. Any other suggestions?

Need some instruction/help. I have an inkscape file from the lastest version of inkscape that I have imported into flexi starter for cutting. The file was saved as both an svg and eps and the eps is the one I have imported. The issue I am having is the text does not appear when I attempt to cut only the parts I bitmapped. Do I need to bit map the text in inkscape and if so how is this done?

Just starting out with inkscape and flexi starter and vinyl cutting..I loaded the latest version of inkscape and want to know how how to: Create a boarder around my finished product (I am creating signs) I currently use the rectangle funtion and create 4 thin lines to make the boarder but when I cut in flexi they are all separate...I realize there has to be a proper way to do this and do it as one piece. Also how do you get rounded corners? Also is there a function to do this in flexi starter? Thanks
