spamming same question in different locations won't help with the answer - appears you are looking for something for nothing and you won't find current data that way - slice pointed to software with what you are looking for in your other thread. further asking the same question in old threads will just result in those post being deleted by the moderation crew. it appears to me that you are connected to a window tint shop - does your specialty window tint software not have that database?

this is what you originally said you had https://uscutter.com/sawgrass-sublijet-hd-dye-sublimation-ink-for-virtuoso-sg500-sg1000/ this is what you say you have in second post https://uscutter.com/sawgrass-chromablast-hd-ink-for-virtuoso-sg500-sg1000-for-use-on-cotton/ big difference
-
no - chromablast for cotton shirts - different product and if you switch back and forth to sublimation ink as you first stated you had you will waste a lot of money clearing the lines.
-
chromablast paper is just for chromablast inks - you want Texprint-r that is made for the gel inks the ricoh printer uses and won't smear like cheaper sublimation papers.

Cutting Problem Graphtec CE6000-60
Dakotagrafx replied to Worble7's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Discussion
here is one I broke the tip on about 3 years ago - had to magnify about 60 times to see it - I got lazy that day and didn't recheck the depth before installing the blade holder (replaced blade) . it happens to everyone at some time. -
E01019 Hardware Y position alarm on my CE7000-60
Dakotagrafx replied to aphem's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Discussion
Cause: This error occurs when the blade tray was moved from side to side by the user after loading the media onto the plotter and with the rear plotter lever in the up position. if the error cannot be resolved I would contact graphtec directly for support . -
make sure you are using a vinyl made for aqueous ink - water based inks require a special layer to be added over the vinyl or the ink will not dry - causing smearing

Strange and poor cutting suddenly on Graphtec CE6000-60
Dakotagrafx replied to jjscruff's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I have only seen this once - but I had a blade holder that had cracked at the top of the threads where the blue cap tightens up to - rare but a possibility - I found it by holding the blade holder and pressing sideways on the the blue cap -

you have to try it to know - and hopefully it works out great for you. Only you know your market and what works best for you. -
Strange and poor cutting suddenly on Graphtec CE6000-60
Dakotagrafx replied to jjscruff's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
have you tried replacing the blade holder? along with skeeters instructions - if this unit has been rode hard then it may be time for a blade holder -
Finally taking the plunge

back 5 years ago the downside to the latex was getting parts after 2-3 years was hard and they had very low resale value like the eco solvents - so keep it busy and pay it off quickly, planning for future upgrades. I am out of printing now and order what I need from companies that produce the products quickly and cheaper than was worth my investment and effort. Wishing you well in your new adventure -

does it go thru the motions to find the edges of the vinyl? are the pressure rollers over the specific locations of the knurled rollers? -
your plotter is already grounded thru the third (round) part of the plug - the issue of grounding and the stand comes from the vinyl being isolated from that ground because the stand or whatever you have holding the vinyl roll is not grounded. what do you sit your roll of vinyl on when feeding the cutter? keep in mind to prefeed and don't allow the plotter to pull the vinyl off the roll

Titan 2 plotter rest for cutting
Dakotagrafx replied to cookbook202's topic in TITAN 2 Series Vinyl Cutter Discussions
blade getting hot would be hard to do , I would think . first take your bladeholder out and put a drop of sewing machine or reel oil in there and make sure the blade spins freely. Make sure you follow skeeters instructions on setting you blade depth -
I would call and make sure, but looking at their list of supported plotters it shows q100 but they seem to have forgot to put vinylmaster for that segment and just listed plotters. for years signwarehouse has rebranded many plotters including graphtec and in doing so they get a proprietary chipset so the graphtec drivers don't work and they tend to strip some features out also. great plotters and I had 3-4 of them over the years - like the graphtec ce series when rebranded would not have the arms feature

Start and finish points does not align

what is the white stuff on the grit roller and down the front of the plotter inline with the grit roller? What program are you cutting with? -
How would i do this in Vinyl master?
Dakotagrafx replied to dvddvd's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
just for kicks try increasing your kerning a bit and then apply an outline instead of an inline -
dangerous assumption - yes they do need to be connected correctly even on ac - the only items you find with plugs that plug in both ways are ones that have no metal exposed externally and engineered that way - look in your house breaker box and you will most likely find the ground and neutral connected to the same buss bar - so if in your device the plotter has ground and a neutral connection no big deal but connect that hot wire coming in to the neutral and fireworks ensue. Glad you figured it our Hibby, every time I work with something from overseas I have to look that up also

Cutting X+ Direction Uneven - CE7000-60
Dakotagrafx replied to levy4u's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I've used the oem plastic holders and metal aftermarket holders (no experience with the newer "higher end " graphtec option), with no problems except a new oem plastic that was broken part way thru when I got it - the ce-7000-60 I had issues with and returned it - that is in another thread and was a problem with the way the vinyl was fed - I have read of people that have ce7000's that work fine but without actually having hands on another one can only go on my personal experience that ended in me purchasing a fc9000 - I have had a plastic red holder but haven't used it for years because the only thing I every used it for was thick flock material for rhinestones With that said I don't see what issue you are experiencing mentioned in your post - I can only assume from the title of the original thread it might be a problem with the x axis cutting but I don't assume anything when trying to diagnose a problem. can you describe what is happening and even maybe pictures of video? -
SC2 cutter printing registration marks error
Dakotagrafx replied to CMJ's topic in SC Series Vinyl Cutter Discussions
only way the plotter will contour cut is if you have created a vector outline for it to follow - nothing automatic about that. with no vector outline and only the raster image there is nothing any plotter will do -
SC2 cutter printing registration marks error
Dakotagrafx replied to CMJ's topic in SC Series Vinyl Cutter Discussions
Did you add a vector contour line for it to follow? If you really want a simple easy to use plotter for contour cutting get a new Roland. Best plotters I ever used for contour cutting -
good catch on the null modem cable - sometimes I miss the simplest things
-
if you ever get a plotter to print I will be amazed - what many have found is the cheaper chipsets in low end serial to usb converters are not reliable and the reason you see all thru the forum the suggestion of the tripplite keyspan on -
