Cut vinyl or printed?  Is it laminated with anything?

 

The company that took over trash service where I live bought a fleet of used garbage trucks, painted them and put new art on them <2 years ago and they are all scratched and torn up from driving down narrow streets with trees on both sides, and they're starting to look like crap...

 

Plus some of the trucks have the robo-arms that lift the cans over the side of the truck and dump, and since not everyone puts everything in bags first, there are nasty brown streaks down the side where stuff oozed out of the cans...

That is beautiful! What did you use to color it with? It looks super smooth in the photos. Very nice contrast, whatever it is!

Kelleybell123 - I did a Google search for "inspirational garden stones" and that poem was one of the results I found - I reformatted it and used a different font, and added a different flourish at the bottom and voila...

That looks awesome! So far all of my sandblasting has been the opposite of yours, exposing only the letters and images to the blasting and keeping the background clear, but now that I've seen your's, I want to try it your way.

I just picked up a sandblast cabinet at Harbor Freight this weekend, but haven't had a chance to set it up. It had been $159, but the only one they had left in stock had a bad gun, so they marked it down to $60 - I already have two guns, so that was a sweet deal for me.
