    Test print

My immediate thought is to have a professional Roland-certified techician come and check out your equipment.

New to forum take it easy on me

Howdy. That equipment involved some major financial investment, are you operating a retail location?
  3. My best guess is that a "Demo" of the program will not allow cutting/printing to occur. Only registered versions will proceed to actual output.

    Saving error

https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/problems-saving-to-disk-in-certain-programs-please-help.1097399/ This discusses the issue, and covers the possible resolutions.

Cutter leaving the travel lines as cuts

Everyone calls it the Z-Chip because it controls the Z-axis movement (the up/down of the cutting blade). Here's a video that explains the replacement process on the earlier models. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68rrkF6gFTE 1:25-1:55

Cutter leaving the travel lines as cuts

Z-Chip fried. Quite common with static build-up on the MH unit. Some older MH machines have a Zchip pop-in cradle, which doesn't require soldering.

    Creation CT630H Problem

ZZZZ, You have a question here?
  8. slice&dice

Has anyone else faced similar problem

Vinyl is temperature-sensitive, the manufacturer recommends handling/applying at above 10*C (50*F) -- also it might be worthwhile trying RapidTac2 product, which assists in adhesion at low temps. There's a video of somebody placing a decal onto a truck when it's snowing out! Beyond that, that wall doesn't seem very smooth, having a 'rippled' texture, and standard vinyl really does best with perfectly flat surfaces, unless it's specifically formulated for wall (uneven surface) application.

Small decal guy, pricing first BIG job

darcshadow, your figure of 15mins. per application comes out to 125 hours x $40 = $5,000. and the $20 per number decal ( in two colors ) equals another $10,000, for a grand total of $15K. My estimate is half that, at $7500. (or, $15 per door) and I agree, it's too low for a two-color application. It'll be interesting to see where this guy ends up, and how he manages to execute this job.

    MH-721 MK2 Alignment Issues

Seems like an internal circuitry glitch with the MH (maybe caused by static frying something on the Motherboard). Have you attempted to cut anything else? Still waiting on your reply to my previous suggestions a few days ago.

Small decal guy, pricing first BIG job

12 minutes ea. x 500 doors is 100 hours of install time. That would take me past July 4th if I started the work this coming Monday. (and I don't have a full-time job that takes up most of my weekdays) 100 hours x $25/hr. seems reasonable (just for the application effort, not including the cost of the decals themselves)

    MH-721 MK2 Alignment Issues

USB or Serial connection? What happens if you use another font? Does the same thing happen using SignBlazer? (RedSail driver) -- we suggest using another cutting software to narrow down the issue to hardware vs software.

    Vinyl Master LTR

Every once in a while, I come through with the goods! I probably would just throw the image into GIMP (free raster editor) and crop it there, and then import the final result to whatever level of VM I've got. Yeah, it's an extra step for a workaround, but it'll suffice, unless a higher level of VM is financially viable for that added functionality.

    Vinyl Master LTR

I can say for sure that cropping images is a feature of XPT and DSR levels only.

    Roll rollers too long

You might want to affix those brackets onto the legs using self-tapping screws, if taking apart the whole stand is too much hassle.

    Roll rollers too long

arty-rc, I was thinking of that at first, too. However, the remaining distance of those rollers doesn't seem to be covered by just reversing the brackets (whereby the overhang with the wheel bearings slots faces out instead of in). It's hard to tell from the photo, but switching them over L-to-R just may be enough additional gap to handle the rollers.

    Satisfying shorts

Sign making shorts, very oddly satisfying to watch! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-QX2gX4bPK2dmV5HUmrihg By the way, that roller pressure table is called "cold laminator" (hand-cranked) ---- RollsRoller is one brand available.
  18. He most likely resolved it, FutureCorp. is very diligent with their support tickets.

    Roll rollers too long

Maybe try installing the brackets onto the outside of the frame (legs)?

Full version Signblazer Download (all cutters)

Thanks Riel. Due to it being Abandonware, along with the internal 'crack' that was applied (computer security gateway defenders will stop it from installing), it's not the most desirable program for people who are seeking to get into vinyl cutting these days. For the record, the download itself on that 'archive' website is located HERE --> https://archive.org/download/signblazer_setup7/signblazer_setup7.exe Oh, by the way, despite the goofy-looking interface, SignBlazerELEMENTS has a lot of great features, including text ARC; great node editing tools; welding and punch-through; drop-shadows and distortion effects; variety of Arrows; quick Kerning; text slant; easy borders; and much more. You are welcome to start a new topic on "Introductions" and tell us about your Rabbit, and what you produce with it, and any tips and tricks or business practices that can assist this community. You seem to be someone who wants to contribute, and that's always appreciated.
  21. With Fathers' Day approaching, I thought it would be a good opportunity to suggest a great present for dad (or granddad). USCUTTER is having a SALE on two of their most popular budget machines (MH and SC) which are fully warranteed but 'refurbished' (maybe with new motherboard, carriage or other components). https://uscutter.com/refurbished-34-sc2-vinyl-cutter-with-stand-and-catch-basket/ and https://uscutter.com/refurbished-34-mh-vinyl-cutter-with-design-cut-software/ The SC includes a media catch basket with the stand, which is a very nice set-up to keep the vinyl from spilling onto the floor! Normally selling new for over $550, this refurb unit is now just $375. (and it comes with the VM software, worth $50 by itself) And for the low, low price of $270. the MH is a decent value proposition for pops to play around with and get addicted to this stuff, just as we all have. [[[ NOTE: These cutters are the big 30" ones, and there are also 24" models available on Sale for even less money. ]]] I can't think of a better way to say to Dad "You're #1" -- and get him into a fulfilling (retirement?) activity that he'll love.

    Hello everyone

Hey, whazzup? I see you've still got that Zero flyin' high! (Mitsubishi A6M) When you get a chance, please post in 'Show Your Work' forum with some of your stuff, I'm sure it's interesting to everyone, you have a unique niche.
  23. If you want to remain on USB, one way to accomplish the connection is using a Virtual Com Port (vcp) and selecting it as your "port" when prompted in the cutter setup screen within your software. http://kiss.flyduino.net/download/stm32-virtual-com-drivers-64bit-pc
  24. Try it with SignBlazer, and troubleshoot with that. (liyu is your model)
