Ken, having the same problems here. Cut just fine for about 2 months now nothing. It's awsome when it works man, but I might have to let it go and get something else. Downtime is killing me. Tell me what to do man! -
Using PCUT cutter CT630 for car vinyl
Guam_Guy replied to monn's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Support Requests
When you say "car vinyl" what brand do you mean? I do not believe there is a specific vinyl designed for cars... Correct me if I'm wrong. I use Oracal 651 windows and decals and 751 for prolonged outdoor sign usage. If you vinyl is the cheap Flebay brand then it doesn't matter if you have your blade and holder adjusted right it will tear due to the cheap adhesive used in those brands. Use a good quality brand vinyl and 90% of your tearing problems will or should go away. Chris -

Looking for some tips when it comes to cutting small letters. My cutter seems to tear the lettering out. Only happens with small fine print letters. I have the cutter set at: pressure 140 speed 60. I have tried cutting at slower speeds and with less pressure but still get the same results. Only happens with small or fine detailed lettering. I use Oracle 651 and brand new Roland Blades. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Chris

Cutting letters

Blade depth should be good, it cuts everything else perfectly. Should I give it more blade or less? I have about half a credit card depth right now. -

As I was investigating my in ability to cut consistent lines, I noticed that my cutter didn't have the cutting strip in the rear. I have the measuring lines in the front but no cutting strip in the rear slot where the blade goes. My question is: Is there a way I can get one from US Cutter for free since it wasn't shipped to me with one or will I have to bite the bullet and pay for one. Or does anyone know of an alternative? Thanks in advanced for any and all help. Chris

Sign Blazer cutting from AI file...How?
Guam_Guy replied to rynosaur's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Support Requests
What I did was create a folder on my desktop called "4 Sign Blazer". I save all my .ai files to version 3 and save to that folder. Once in Sign Blazer, I import the file do what I have to do and save it through Sign Blazer. It automatically saves it into a .sbd file. That's how I do it and I have no problems. Also if needed I use the Full Postscript option. Hope this helps you out. Chris -
