Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone with experience with older Graphtec plotters can help me before I buy yet another wrong cable.
I have a Graphtec CE6000-60 PLUS. During a recent move I lost the original communication cable that was connected between the plotter and my PC.
What I know so far:
- The plotter has a DB25 connector labeled RS-232C.
- In the plotter menu the interface is set to RS-232C.
- I also see a USB-style connector on the machine.
- Cutting Master reports "No connected device".
- Windows does not show any COM port in Device Manager.
What I have already tried:
- I connected the plotter with a standard USB printer cable (USB-A to USB-B).
- The computer did not recognize the plotter.
- I have already bought two cables/adapters that turned out to be wrong.
My question:
What is the exact cable I need to connect this plotter to a Windows 10 Pro PC
If possible, could someone please provide a link to the exact cable and perhaps de right driver that works with this model? I know this plotter works with this Windows since I have used it before.
I would really appreciate it, because at this point I have already purchased the wrong hardware twice.
Thanks in advance!
PS. I have added some pictures. Since I use this plotter for my hobby I do not know all the technical stuff. Thanks everybody who wants to help.
