Anyone have an extra blade holder or maybe even two of them laying around from a dead cutter you'd want to sell me?  I didn't see them on their website. I'd rather pay a used price though since new ones are probably too much for me.

I'd like to quickly switch from Oracal 651 to Siser Heat Transfer to Hartco Sandblast mask and would hate to have to re-adjust the blades every time.

pm me and we could work something out...

Thanks

OK. I knew it used Roland type blades, but I didn't realize that a Roland holder would work on the Refine. I thought it was proprietary.

Hey John have you personally ordered one of these holders from this company, or did u just do an Ebay search?

Just curious.  Thanks.

I bid on a few but didn't win...didn't really need it but figured as a back-up. But I did buy a crap load of blades from them.

Ordered a chinese knock off blade holder for the graphtec just to use for my metalics/reflectives blade and it works great

IN the case of the refine..I wouldn't call them 'cheap Chinese knock-offs'..most likely OEM.. after all, the cutters are made in China too. Probably use the same blade holders from the same factory.

I am sure..but the original poster is looking for a blade holder for his refine...not a graphtec. And that is what I was referring to.

I believe we actually carry these blade holders.  However it does seem like we're out of it at the moment.  From what I know, they should run about $30.

so let me get this straight, if i have a mh series cutter (mh871) i CAN use a roland blade holder with no issues??

i was actually thinking of reverse engineering mine and making one out of brass, but if the all aluminum roland one will work id go that route.

The roland blade holder will NOT work in a refine.

The roland blade holder is shorter than the refine holder.  It will not reach the cut strip in the down position.

You can't put the flange inside the carriage arm as the blade holder won't lift from the cut strip in the up position.

I tried!  But I can't make one fit.

Definite difference from a Roland Blade holder compatible as opposed to Roland Blade compatible
The refine uses Roland Blades! and a special holder.  I can get a roland blade compatible holder for my Graphtec!
