Oki c711wt white toner laser printer

If you're printing it and the space between the log details is really small, have you considered just filling it in with the color of the shirt? And if it's just one color and you're doing a lot of them, have you though about plastisol transfers?

some vector files for everyone to use

cutters are basically just cnc machines that read the outlines of shapes, cutters do not care if it is filled or not. If it bothers you, just open the file in illustrator or inkscape and flip the outline/fill options.

For anyone who's wondering; the files just have an outline instead of a fill, they are not "wireframe". They will cut fine.
  4. Interesting. I'm outsourcing my screens right now. I'll have to play around with the vinyl stencils.
  5. You're using waterbase with a vinyl stencil on a screen? How does that work out? Does it deteriorate the adhesive on the vinyl at all?

    Sticky Flock on SC cutter

Have you tried a 60° blade?
  7. I'm making a few shirts to list at my local gym to test the market. At this point we're doing a consignment system. Does anyone know a good template for the "invoice" and maybe some good terms and conditions (as in I own the product until it is sold and can come take it at any time etc. etc,) thanks!
  8. Alstyle possibly. I know they sell mens sleeveless.

Try right clicking the icon and either running as administrator or running it with one of the compatibility options?

    Screen shot?
  11. Maybe next time I'll do shirts without washing to see how it goes. I've always been worried about shrinkage around the design.
  12. I prewash and dry on medium. I include washing instructions for customers. I haven't tested it yet but I imagine if you apply HTV then wash and the shirt shrinks the HTV wont shrink and bind up on the edges?

    Vinyl On Pint Glasses, or?

I think you may need to adjust your time management slightly. Of course this does depend on how complicated the weeding is but I can bang out a dozen etched glasses in a half hourish to 45 minutes. This isn't including designing. I do have slightly different rates for how complicated I estimate the design/weeding to be. I'll prep and clean all my glasses while the vinyl is cutting, weed / mask, apply stencils, then etch multiple glasses at a time. I've messed around with armour etch a bit and I personally find my best results are from doing 4-6 at a time (depending on size of exposed area). Leaving the cream on for 2-3 minutes, rinsing (you can reclaim the etching cream, it's reusable), letting the first lot dry while I do another lot for 3 minutes, then I got back and re-etch everything for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  14. excellent, that's what I was hoping for as I was assuming that they're all probably similar but re branded. Thanks.
  15. I want to get a backup cutting strip for my LP2 but USCutter recently changed their ordering policy for international orders. As a Canadian I probably wont be ordering anything from them anymore. I was wondering if there was some other brand of cutter that I could get the cutting strip for that would fit my LP2. Thanks.
