    Mirrors/glass

Just to give you an idea. I had real good luck with memorial mirrors. You know the in memory of type. I would do the standard name and dates, and include something personal. If he was into hunting, fishing, sports etc. Many larger mirrors were used at the funerals. I made smaller mirrors for the family members. I have several funeral homes displaying these for me. People love them. They are a pretty easy sale,as long as you can produce the mirror in time for the funeral. Even if you can't,they sell well.

    My first attempt at etching

The cabinet is the cheap part. Wait til you buy your 10hp 200gal compressor. Not to mention the cost of installing. Stick to glass, doing stone costs add up fast!

    Scanncut machine

I have a Brother Scan N Cut. It works ok,and the scanner is nice. I also have the Cameo. I think the Cameo is a better machine. With the new software and mat you can use your smart phone like a scanner. I really have not used the Brother much. I also own a graphtec ce6000-60,so I just do the one offs with the small cutters. The small cutters are slow and loud, but do do a good job of cutting.

    USMC for my brothers topper.

I just did a USMC bulldog on a basketball size garden orb. The orb is metallic purple. I did a trial cut with white vinyl. Trying to get it perfect was a pain. I figured on doing the trial to get the vinyl the right size .I cut it in several places to make it easier to conform. I had some nice chrome vinyl that was supposed to be the final image. The customer was so pleased with the test run,he stayed with that. I have done about a dozen Marine layouts for him. I guess once a Marine always a Marine.

    Vinyl Mastrr V4?

That was the full version of Pro.They reduce the price from about $248 to $223 about every 2 weeks. It is back up to $248 now. A side note you can buy the full version as a "CROSSGRADE" for $220 from an online store. I won't name the store here. A crossgrade just means you are upgrading from a different software. It can even be Corel Draw. They don't ask for any proof, but I think we all have products that qualify.

Red Blade Holder For Graphtec $99.00

I was told by Graphtec the ce6000 uses a new blade and holder.I suppose they can still use the older style too. The new blade holder doesn't use the springs. The ce5000 cutters do use springs. I just bought a ce6000-60 a month ago,and I noticed this,so I contacted Graphtec America. I never asked if the older ce6000 cutters had springs or not.

    Ricoh Printer

They don't dry out IF they are left powered on! Since the power was off if he was gone for a more than 2 weeks, they will be clogged! The newest models are a little better, but do clog. You could try the cleaning kit from ebay.I think the 1/2 gallon size is about $40. It would be worth that to try to save the printers. They claim it will work with sublimation ink.
