I tired that but its skewing the whole thing rotates if that makes since. I want to bottom to stay straight and just angle the top

It works with skew in AI. but I cant find a skew in sure cuts. I cant use italic cause I need one number set to lean left on to lean right

How much material do you need foward of the cut head?

Im wondering what I have set wrong every time I cut from sure cuts its always backs the vinyl backwards and it falls out the back of the machine. I start with about 6" hanging out the front.
