So I should check tp see if there is a windows 7 driver or would the other driver be ok?

Are there any tips or tricks? I had it on the correct port but then the cutter wasnt getting any info. All was set up as normal using the USB

Hi anyone know of any programs that work with Windows 7? We have a ct630 and use Flexi Pcut edition but its just soo hard. Does anyone know if any of the other programs will work? Hi I always delete the bitmap and keep the vector image so it wont get confused. Might be worth a try...

Have you tried using www.vectormagic.com ? they give 2 free conversions, might be worth a try

Have you looked to see if save vinyl is slected?I wasted a lot of vinyl when i didnt know about that option,it had seemed to turn itself on so i never knew what it was.

Hi I was wondering if any one can outline to me how I contour cut? I have a new cutter (cant remember what name) and for the life of me I have no idea what Im doing. Can I use an jpeg and then create an outline or does it all need to be a vector? I am just a bit lost. Any helps or links to where I can look would be great. Me again, Trying to get this cutter up and going but I thought id try new software, I just got the FlexiStarter and it worked once but now it says can not open port. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Windows Vista just hates me Sjane_xoxo

HI Just putting it out there for some advice. Any help would be awesome. I have a Pcut CR630 and it came with ArtCut 2009. When I load it on Vista it will install the usb driver and the ArtCut Program but that is all it does. Will ask for the graphics cd but then wont go further than that. When its used on a computer with XP it gets to the opening screen asking for the work area size and will actually cut so I know that it works. I tried to use the download on the ArtCut website but it doesnt have the CR630 so it just sends pops up with a write to MFC failed pop up. Its driving me insane. Has anyone had any luck getting these to work with the SBE download? Its not a comm port cutter so uses USB. Again any help would be great. Thanks, Sara-Jane

HI Paco, My main problem when using SBE is becuase its a usb and not comm port it just sends random lines of text to the printer. maybe becuase its a new model and not listed before the last update maybe? Its the CR630 so is giving me a few hassles. I works fine with XP but just hates vista,wont even get started with windows 7...

Tried with signblazer but it just sends a random print out to the printer and not the cutter.doesnt seem to have a pcut cr630. i have had this cutter working on XP but i need to work it on vista. is there a program that works with a mac and pcut?

Hey just been setting up a PCUT CR630 on windows vista (using Artcut 2009) and when we go into the cut/plot option it comes up with the Write to Cutter MFC application not working and wont let us do anything. Any hints or tips? Its like its stopping the communication from the cutter (its a USB connection not a COMM PORT) and I have no idea how to work around it,doesnt look like the CR630s work on SBE either.
