I want to make vinyl decals and offer different font options. Some fonts say that they are for commercial use, but have restrictions on putting them on a web site. Is there an easy way to find out which commercial fonts can be put on a web site? Thanks for your time! Ann

I am using Oracal 651 to make decals for car windows. I am new to the sign making business & was told to purchases the R Tape Conform, High Tack. I have applied small deals to windows with no problems, until yesterday. While applying a larger decal (with many 1" letters) to a car window, the tape did not want to release from the vinyl. The vinyl tore several times on the larger image and stretched quite a bit of the 1" letters. Obviously, the customer was not happy and I was embarrassed. What app tape do you recommend for this type of application? I'd REALLY appreciate your input!!! I have several large orders that will need to be applied next month. I don't want to look foolish again.

What do need to change a scanned image into an eps file? What program? Does the program come with the PCUT? Ann -
I want an affordable vinyl cutter, but first i need to talk Hubby into it. We've never owned a vinyl cutter before, but was recommended to get the Creation PCUT 24". I do own the Cricut & I can cut small pieces of vinyl on it. We need some questions answered before the final decision is made. After purchasing the PCUT, what else do we need to buy? I have read in these forums about "Sign Blazer". What exactly is it? Do i need it? Does it come with the machine? Do I need to purchase it? Basically all I want to do is to scan images into my computer & then cut them on a vinyl cutter. I know how to change an image into a SVG file in Inkscape. After i purchase a vinyl cutter, what else do i need to buy to do this? Also, how do you like your Creation PCUT? So many different opinions on this forum. Give me some good answers. I need to sell him on this idea! Ann

Someone posted that the best vinyl for the car window decals is Oracal 651. Do you agree? have you tried something else & liked it better? Also, what is the best type of transfer tape for car window decals? Sorry if these are silly questions. I'm a newbee. :- Thanks, Ann

I am considering the 24" Creation PCUT. I don't know anything about vinyl cutters, so sorry if my queston sounds dumb. Is it possible to scan an image into my computer and then have cut on the PCUT? Do i need to have Correl or Illustrator? I know how to change images into SVG files using Inkscape, but that's about all I can do. If I purchased the Creation PCUT, what would i need to cut a scanned image? Is it possible & is it hard? thanks, Ann

I have been cutting vinyl for friends & family using my Cricut machine. I am ready to upgrade so I can cut bigger images. What do you think of the 24" Creation PCUT? Can I cut an image a friend gives me? If so, how do I do it? Is it easy? While using my Cricut, I use a program called SCAL and I can scan an image, open it in SCAL and then cut it on the Cricut. It's so easy. No need to learn Correl or Illustrator. I am new to all the vinyl language, any help you can give me is appreciated! Thanks, Ann
