I need help making these signs. I've been told i should get the pen attachment for my plotter, and have it draw the lettering outline, then fill it (color it in) by hand with paint. The only substrate for this that i can find is here http://estore.websitepros.com/1262528/Categories.bok?category=Paper&searchpath=21171239&start=1&total=13 It only comes in 36" and my plotter is 24", is there any way i can use the 36" (the smallest they have) in my 24" plotter (say by bending it or something)? And why can't i find this substrate anywhere? Does it have another name? I've been googling and can't find anything. This sort of sign is common in my area with stores and gas stations that change their specials often and want a cheaper alternative to vinyl. Any help appreciated Thanks

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. What about the adhesive removal stuff? Will rubbing alcohol be fine after using the heat gun and plastic razor? Or should i get a special kind? If yes, which do you recommend?

Hi I have a customer that wants me to remove existing vinyl from a light box sign and apply new vinyl lettering. What are the best tools and substances to use that won't leave any marks or scratches? Any tips and advice appreciated. Thanks

Hi everyone I'm looking at doing t-shirts and possibly hats and i'm looking for a good value (under $500) heat press to get started. I was thinking of a t-shirt and hat press and wondered if there is such a thing or if there is a t-shirt press that you can get separate (hat) attachments for. I'm not interested in cups or plates. Thanks in advance.

Thanx that's what i was thinking too

I bought my unit through ebay it was packed fine but i noticed some things that made me think that it was slightly used or perhaps a refurbished unit. Like marks of washers under the unit (like it was put together before) and a tiny red piece of vinyl (approx. 1mm x 3mm) stuck underneath the unit and today i saw permanent black marker marks on the black bit at the back?!?!?!? You can tell if a product is 100% or not, you know. Anyone noticed any marks like these? Are they normal for new units?

You will need the laserpoint. The Copam doesn't have this feature. -

New COPAM 2500 won't cut

Ok turning it off to clear the cache was exactly what it needed. It cut some seriously odd looking mess out of the image i gave it, but it DID cut! Now to figure out how to get it to do the right shape... What should the speed, force and offset be? They are at 60, 60 and .25 -
