Mugs, Black has brown especially on the edges after sublimation. WHY?
lakewoodlettering posted a topic in Sublimation
When I have full coverage mugs. mostly black I am having some places coming out brown, Around the edges. Is it TOO much heat / time or too little/ Have been doing 375 F. for 245 seconds. Maybe it is just my press. Thanks George -
I hve tried the PerfecTear Plus GPX 775 tape. During wet install it leaves residue on vinyl. Then I have to remove the residue. Anyone have this happen I use Oracal 651, Rapid Tac 2 before application and spay app tape after install to remove from vinyl So far I dont like it.. I used clear, even on wet app, worked great

Why is residue left after application tape removed?
lakewoodlettering posted a topic in General discussion
Using Wet application. I have portions of application tape left after carefully removing the app tape. Using Main Tape Med. Tack 774 PerfecTear Plus See photo. After appication using wet Rapid tac 2. some tape stays on the vinyl. I do spray the tape after sticking. and wait several seconds for the paper tape to wrinkle. 1. not enough wet? 2. not wet long enough? It all comes off but it is a time consuming process. Thanks -
