hi im from the uk and i do custom airbrushing work

and i have been looking for a plotter for some time

i see they ship to the uk but my question is Is this plotter good for cutting masks

for them that dont know what i mean a mask is what we use as a stencil to spry our paint on

this gives us a good clean line

im running a 48" copam and it is an exellent machine for the money. I havent cut stencil but as far as I know the listed down force is more than satisfactory for cutting thick material, and it is billed as a professional quality machine that would be in the 4000 buck range if it were one of the larger name brands.

it is a step up in price but the drives and servo's should do what your asking from it with no problem. ive been pleased with the large scale cutting ive done with it.

I have a 36in Pcut and I have used mine for lettering / decals and pin striping for cars to be painted, I used Spray Mask from Signwarehouse, Works well and gives a nice clean line when you paint

Arn't they steppers???

You are correct and low end steppers at that.

Yes, the Copam's have steppers.

If you are looking for something comparable to the GX24- go with  GraphTec CE5000- 60
