charlie_b CFXPaintworks 1 Posted August 2, 2008 Maybe i looked in the wrong place..but today, my buddy got a Laserpoint and took almost 2.5 hours to get it going. Finally, we went to the support section and had to go through a questionnaire to FINALLY get the right drivers for his LP. One thing that i thought that needed to be fixed was the link. I mean...all it was was a word saying "here". If one did not know any better, one would totally miss this and not know it was there to click. Having the steps like windows trouble shooting is fine, but why not just have a page specific to the drivers? A simple list like: Copam Vista USB Driver LP XP USB/SERIAL Driver you get the picture...that way..one would just Click DRIVERS, a DL page would show up and everyone can click on the driver of choice. I think that would make it much more easy and faster to get their machine going. I know i would have loevd to spend some time with the LP so see what i can cut with..but most of the time was spent trying to get it to run. Anyway, just a suggestion. charlie_b CFXPaintworks 1 Posted August 6, 2008 Yeah...we were using his and my laptop and it just wouldn't recognize each other. He plans on using it at swap meets and stuff so mobility is a must.
