zentraveler 0 Posted July 31, 2008 I'm just getting into the graphics thing and I'm having trouble figuring out how to make the graphics that I want. I really can't afford Illustrator, Flexi, Corel etc. Currently I have Corel paint shop pro X2, Photoshop Elements 5.0, Inkscape and a few others. I'd really like to be able to create my own graphics and cut it out on my 24" cutter. What can I use that will do vector graphics that I can export to SB? I really don't know why I'm having such a mental block with this! Any help would be appreciated.
Jay2703 704 Posted July 31, 2008 Inkscape will work. Just export as .eps then import to signblazer.
phrog 0 Posted August 10, 2008 I just open pictures in photoshop and save them as a bmp or jpg at 600 dpi then import that into SBE and then monochrome it and vector it there
firemalt 10 Posted August 10, 2008 A good way to learn all the features of Inkscape: Go to youtube, do a search for "Inkscape". Follow along/draw the same thing the person in the video is drawing, using the pause button on the video so you don't miss any steps.
