ralais 0 Posted July 25, 2008 I don't know if it's because I live near the beach, but those "Salt Life" window decals are on every other car I see here. Does anyone here happen to have the "Salt Life" image? I thought maybe it was just a font but I haven't been able to find the font anywhere... I think it is an image. BossThinksImWorking 4 Posted July 25, 2008 I don't get it. I know the ocean is salty so is that what it's about?
Guest kenya Posted July 25, 2008 It's Ocean Living Apparel. It's for people who fish, scuba dive, surf, boat or anything related to the ocean. My husband and I scuba dive for lobster in the Fl. Keys. You see it everywhere down there. It's all over where I live, now that's it scallop season.

alborlin 0 Posted July 26, 2008 kenya, were going to the keys on aug. 8th. staying near marathon. do you know what the license fee is and where you get it for lobster. the couple were going with has done it before but years ago thanks
Guest kenya Posted July 26, 2008 It's been a few years since we went down. We had been going there every year, but with the price of things now. :'( You can get a 5 year lobster permit for $10. There is no savings, you just don't have to bother with getting it renewed every year. If you get one every year, it's $2. You need a saltwater license also. I get ours at Wal-mart, but you can get them at any bait & tackle or scuba shop. Let us know how the season is this year. We won't be heading down, but hopefully next year. Actually you can not get the license at any bait shop. I was just down in Fort Myers and several of the shops don't sell them but they'll let you use your phone to call it in. You can get your license here and have it sent to you: https://www4.wildlifelicense.com/fl/start.php or call this # 1-888-FISH-FLORIDA (347-4356) since we're on the topic.... Caught my first hammerhead shark off the north end of sanibel island last week It was less than 15' off the shore, people still played in the water as I brought it in. Guest kenya Posted July 27, 2008 Here's a Salt Life sea turtle ......you need to make three of the circles on the turtle's back white (diagonally), while the rest remain red.I've got some flags, I'll post them later.

I've got some flags, I'll post them later. When I bring this into Flexi, I cant get it to fill the holes on the back. What techniques would you use to fill the turtle shell to look like a dive flag...? Thanks
Guest kenya Posted July 28, 2008 Sorry, I don't know anything about flexi..... I think Five will be able to help you there.
