Serial Cable

Just purchased PCUT w/SignBlazer & stand (via ebay).  Would you tell me how long the serial cable is that comes with the unit?  I need to plan my room layout and arrange workstation, desk, PCUT, and cabling.  I did read the dimensions are 40(w) X 20(d) X 48(h).  Is that the footprint of the stand or the PCUT?

I think it is a 4 or 6ft cable. Not too long. I think those demensions are of the unit and the stand together.
