anyone used the new step stakes?

My supplier has started selling new size step-stakes. They are 17x6,same "H" style as the old ones,but only $.35 each in lots of 100. It's not the cost,but the ease of shipping that I am thinking about. I have a few coming Wednesday to have a look at but maybe someone here has already tested them?

got the stakes...guage of wire is the same as the bigger ones. They are stout. ONly difference really is that the sign is just about 6 inches closer to the ground than with the older stakes. I"m gonna go with the smaller ones. I have talked to others locally who say that the snaller ones tend to keep the signs from being blown down better than the taller ones.

I've seen plenty of the large ones on the ground,

stands to reason that they will stay put better.

I'm going to order some now.
