Knobhill 0 Posted June 20, 2008 I quoted on a job yesterday for lettering a store front window aprox 5' x 8'. Vinyl size about 3.5' x 6'. I was second quoting the job. The first quote was for one color (white) substituting the customers graphic and font with standard in stock for $200 vinyl only, and $385 installed. It can be cut on a 24" plotter without paneling but applied in three pieces in aprox 20 minutes.
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted June 20, 2008 I'd do it for that,or $50 less if that was the other guy's quote.

Knobhill 0 Posted June 21, 2008 Thanx, that's about what I did. I gave him a price of $275 installed. I'm more used to trucks and trailers.
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted June 22, 2008 I don't do store windows because I can't stand someone watching me work. I'm funny like that. When I had my upholstery shop, if someone came in the shop, I just sat down and waited til they left. One of my MANY peculiarities.
Knobhill 0 Posted June 22, 2008 I'm the opposite, I never minded someone watching me work because I usually put them to work. LOL
