Print your own replacement blade holder clamp for CT series machines, maybe others

Recommended Posts

The blade holder clamp on my machine (JSI Cut 24 but clearly Creation PCut CT630) was in sad condition. You can still buy these from a few sources but why when it takes 20 minutes to throw it together in a cad program and 30 minutes to print?

Any future revisions will probably just get uploaded to its entry at thingiverse. I recommend PETG. Should be more durable than the original acetyl part.

I have a friend fabricate one on his 3D printer for my LaserPoint, but he couldn't include the hole for the laser because the clearance was so narrow. I did end up finding the exact replacement on a seller in China. But yes, if you can 3D print them, it's so much easier. There are people selling the 3D printed parts on eBay too.
