VitroDesign France 1 Posted September 14, 2021 Hello When I want to print for example a 50x50cm square, the plotter cuts a 50x52.41cm rectangle. I did not find it in the Axis scale Compensation function menu. my control panel does not have the mode button ... Is there a hidden menu? Thank you in advance for your ideas:
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 14, 2021 No mention of which cutting software that you are using, Cutter calibration is usually in the cutter software.
VitroDesign France 1 Posted September 14, 2021 Hello MZ Skeeter, I use Glass Eye, whitch is a stained glass design software. There is no plotter calibration in it. I have in the manual of the plotter a page where X/Y axis compensation mode is explained but it does not apply to my model because I do not have the same control pannel. Here is a copy of the manual: you can see that the control pannel is different of mine... Until now, I simply resize manualy my drawings before plotting, but it is quite "unpractical"... MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 14, 2021 Contact your seller, or Creation, UScutter has not sold Creation vinyl cutters here for years. I don't know of any person here that uses EyeGlass software. There is only a handful of volunteers here that answer questions.
VitroDesign France 1 Posted September 14, 2021 Thank you anyway, I will try to contact Creation...
darcshadow 1,626 Posted September 14, 2021 Are you using Glass Eye to do the actual cutting or is it just the design software?
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 14, 2021 Most any modern cutting software has cutter calibration built into it.
