yellowrunkz 0 Posted July 5, 2021 Hello everyone.. I am new to the site an i basically got into sublimating tumblers from watching youtube videos... But along my journey, i have had some tumblers come out pretty decent and aswell i made some mess up aswell... But my question on the tumblers that didn't come out properly is is there a way i can still save them? I tried putting it back into the oven for about an hour or so to try to burn off the ink that is there.. But when i sublimate over it with a darker color i can still see through.. What i am thinking what if I just spray paint over the tumblers and use Dyepress PolyGloss Sublimation Coating for Hard Substrates if that would make more sense and maybe less time-consuming rather than trying to bake off as much of the ink possible? Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted July 7, 2021 you can't bake off the ink - in my experience it has been better to trash the messed up one and move on with new.
