Cutting problem graphtic 6000 plus

Recommended Posts

If it's cutting good , no reason to mess with it.

Cutting in right place is good but left place is bad after plotter work from 30min to 1 hour

What do you mean by left place is bad?  Bad cuts?  If bad cuts, look at the cutting strip and make sure no scratches and gouges.   Make sure the blade depth is set correctly. Slow your cutter speed, until you learn it.

To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should barely see and feel the blade out of the blade holder. Regular sign vinyl is only 2-3 mil thick. You only cut with the very tip of the blade.

check the cutting strip if it's just a certain place that has the bad cuts.

Go back to basics and start all over again like it's a new machine. Pull out the blade holder, remove the blade, and twist the depth knob. Check the blade holder for any debris, and if you have some precision oil, add a tiny drop of that. Reinstall the blade and dial in the depth, per Skeeter's instructions. Reinstall the blade holder.

Do the machine make the rattling sound only with the blade holder in, or does it rattle without any blade holder in it as well?

Whatever is loose, is most likely causing your inconsistent cuts.

What is your force setting, and what kind of vinyl are you cutting?
