I have this plotter, and I can't for the life of me figure out the blade/speed/force settings. I can't find any information based on this model. I know I have to adjust and work and adjust some more, but I just can't seem to get it on the right settings. Helllllp. :(

The cutter model does not matter.  Set up is pretty basic  There are not any set in stone settings for any vinyl cutter. Even the same model will be different. . First start slow until you learn the cutter. No reason to run it fast, just to mess up faster. You need to set the blade depth correctly. Then that sets your force.

To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should barely see and feel the blade out of the blade holder. Regular sign vinyl is only 2-3 mil thick. You only cut with the very tip of the blade.

You need to take time and search this forum.  All of the info is here. Search bar in upper right hand corner. Any basic question has been answered hundreds of times on here.   You don't even state what brand of cutter it is or which cutting software you are using and on which computer operating system.

are you on window or mac?

did your cutter come with software?

you're going to be testing in the beginning, so you whatever cheapest or most abundant vinyl you have.

your cutter looks brand spanking new, whats the make and model of it?

It's a basic RedSail chinese-made unit. Runs with SignBlazer. Put the speed up to the max (800) and the force around 80, that's a good place to start.

I find it strange that the arrows on the control keypad show 'V' up and down and 'F' left and right. Force should be the Up/Down indicators and Velocity side to side! Typical Chinese engineering; all sorts of oddities in their manufacturing processes.

As a side note, what's with all the newbies coming here lately with requests for troubleshooting, without even a minimum of information provided? "My machine won't work? How can I fix it?" -- that type of thing.

skeetz, the control panel on top rail is a feature of the MH. In fact, this is the exact same keypad layout as the MH.

(RedSail is a massive Chinese company that holds the patents and produces the chipsets for many models that are sold under various brand names, like Vevor, UScutter, signWarehouse, etc).

Thank you SO much. We adjusted the blade and starting a cut, adjusting the force while doing so to get the right result.

I have no doubt that different brands of value plotters get their control pads at the same place
