Baldwin Design 0 Posted August 25, 2020 Good afternoon Gentlemen. Before I scrap my Graphtec FC3100-60 plotter I wanted to see if maybe I could make it work. I recently bought a new laptop to run my Flexi software and my Graphtec FC 3100-60 plotter. Well that didn't work. I bought a generic parallel to USB cable. That didn't work. Do I need a specific cable that works with windows 10?
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted August 25, 2020 What version of Flexi software? Older Flexi software is not compatible with Windows 10. Try it with Signblazer, which is FREE. The cutter is listed on it.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 25, 2020 they had a special serial cable back then but never heard of a special parallel cable - did the parallel adapter come with drivers for that device? earliest one I ever had was fc 4100 and pretty sure that one is used for weight on a tractor pull sled somewhere - those were beast back then
darcshadow 1,625 Posted August 25, 2020 Found a post from 2011 where someone got theirs to work using a Belkin F2A036-06 Bi_Directional Printer Cable.
