VISTA - cannot open output device error initializing cutter

Although I figured I'd have lots of questions, I really wasn't counting on starting out this way. I've loaded everything onto  a Vista machine and it does nothing. I keep getting the message "cannot open output device  error initializing cutter".

Has anyone else using Vista had this problem? If so, could you tell me how to fix it?

Configure SignBlazer to communicate through the correct port. Which COM port # has your USB connection been assigned by Vista?
