Heat Pressing long sleeves

Recommended Posts

Need some advice...I have a customer that wants his company name LARGE on the long sleeves of hoodies.....PIA!

Do you all charge extra for this type of imprint?

Is there a good & easy insert around that will go all the way down the sleeve to cover the sleeve seam?

TIA, Sue2

I think you need to measure each size and go from there. I seem to remember it needs to go toward the front of the sleeve, but don't remember where I saw that.

You could use a teflon pad made for sleeves and leg prints, I have also used  a sock jig for sublimating socks

I have a sleeve/leg press pillow that is about 6"x 18" that you can slide in most long sleeves and it keeps the seam in the underarm from causing issues. I now have a Fusion with a sleeve platen that is totally awesome if the garment has room. If it won't I use the pillow.  I do not charge "extra" for it being a complicated press but definitely charge for the extra location.
