Graphtec ce6000 vs Roland gs-24 for contour cutting

Recommended Posts

Hey there, completely new to the scene so sorry if my terminologies are off, I want to contour cut tiny pixel art on vinyl & thin cardstock. Here is an example. Say I want to print it 0.4" high and have it cut along the outside on the line with no outline. Would it be possible to do this and for it do so accurately with all the 90 degree corners? Will either the Roland or the Graphtec be able to do this? Would one be more suited to the job?

If 0.4" is simply too small, how much more bigger can I go before it can do it accurately?

Hi there, welcome.

This entire figure is less than 1/2" height? Wow, that's tiny. Really, really tiny. I don't have a servo-motor cutter but it seems to me this isn't within the capabilities of any machine to deal with.

You might want to post the vector file and have someone here who owns a Graphtec try to cut it.
