Cutting in Sections

Recommended Posts

Guest Mike sign carver

I just bought a new plotter and it came with vinylmaster cut software, I will only use this software to cut my layouts which I make in Corel draw. I cannot figure out how to cut in sections. For instance if my material (sandblast mask) is only 24” wide but my layout is 70” wide how do I get it to divide it in separate 24” pieces.

Thank You

Hello,

I have watch this video but I believe this is an old post. I have just purchase VinylMaster LTR v4.2 and I do not see how to do Tiling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The image I am trying to do is multicolor and I have watch a video to do this but my image is larger then my cutter. I just  want to split (or divide) my image into 2 sections. Steps oh how to do this would be great or better a video would be Perfect. :)

Thanks

Check the VM website and see if it's a feature that you have in the version of VM you have.

Working from Vm Pro here... YMMV

Select your Object> Send to Cutfile (A)

Cutfile Manager Module, Selected Items Tab (B) > Select Colors to Tile (C) >Send (D).

Without Selecting (Clicking) Object, Locate Tile Cut Lines X and/or Y (E) > Select Edit (F) to set Overlap (G)(.25 works well ;1/4") > OK > Apply.

Select Cut Page or Cut All (H) to Send to Cut Module.
