Baelejae 0 Posted December 31, 2019 I'm sorry for it not being able to be understood . I set up a cut of words with a outline . Two different colors obviously , I put registers . But only one side a the letters match , the other side looks like it got pulled to the left , its not in the middle on the outline
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted December 31, 2019 provide some pictures of what you are doing. If your talking about a tracking problem, that MH cutter is a bottom of the barrel cutter with many known problems including tracking. Make sure your blade is set correctly, so that the blade is not too far our and dragging on the vinyl. Make sure you always have enough vinyl free and loose behind the cutter. Never be pulling from the vinyl roll while cutting. This is how to set your blade depth correctly. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should just barely see and feel your blade tip out of the blade holder.
Baelejae 0 Posted December 31, 2019 I have no photos , I already figured out to apply it for a customer . But I've seen that they have problems with tracking but is it only with long distance ? Or are they bad with short distance as well ? My cut was only 17 " long
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted December 31, 2019 If you don't have the pinch rollers an equal distance on the edge of the vinyl, short distance can be bad also. The vinyl has to feed straight. This will also happen if you are pulling vinyl from the roll while cutting. How did you set your blade depth?
