Cut blade -- right or left?

Recommended Posts

I guess this is fairly minor in the grand scheme of things, but the LP3 has a carriage with the blade positioned on the right side, which seems to me preferable because it gets the ORIGIN point very close to the edge of the cutter throat (where the vinyl feeds).

The other machines (SC2 and MH) have the blade holder on the left side of the carriage, leaving a gap from the edge of the throat, due to the width of the carriage.

There a question here? :)

Having it on the right just means that you will have your gap at the other side, the size of the cutter would still be the same.
