Epson P9000 and Oracal 651

Recommended Posts

I want to make some design for my food truck as I know Oracal651 would be the best option.

Is Epson P000 capable to print on Oracal651 Vinyl?

Your printer uses water based inks, you will want a printer that uses eco solvent or latex inks, plan to spend 8000 for a latex or 15,000 for a solvent based printer for anything used outdoors.  While your printer can print on special aqueous based material ( not 651). It will not last long even when laminated.  The coating that allows the water based ink to adhere to the vinyl is what fails . . . Laminated you may get a year of use.   Using the proper printer and ink will make it last much longer 6-8 years laminated.  For one project it usually makes sense to have someone with the proper equipment do it for you

^^^^  Highly suggest you create your design and send it to a company like ZOO PRINTING that offers vehicle decals using specialized 3M vinyl material.  http://www.zooprinting.com/products/vehicledecals
