I am a full time Ground Service Equipment mechanic for one of the worlds largest contractor companies at EWR (Newark) Airport) here in New Jersey. I am the guy that usually has to fix the equipment that lost your baggage, got you onto the plane late, or broke as your flight was pushing back. I'll add a formal apology for that...sorry.

Aside from that, I am a part-time failed entrepreneur, I wholesale High Intensity Discharge/HID/Xenon lights to a few shops around here and sell them on craigslist also. I am trying to get my t-shirt business in gear, my vinyl business in gear and my clothing label. Aside from that, I just sit at this computer surfing this forum.

Depends on who you were flying with, but probably was. You know you love Newark!

So it was you that made have all those long layovers at the lovely Newark airport.....

Actually I prefer the minneapolis airport, at least they have a huge mall nearby if you're stuck for long.  ;D

Well I work in factory that assemble seats and door panels of Toyota SUV'S for the past 9 yrs. We where working a lot but know nobody wants to spend 40k on a vehicle that gets 15 mpg. I woked at a local sign shop and loved the work before a came to the current job I'm at. With a wife and a couple kids, working at the sign shop wasn't going to work out without insurance. So year ago I bought a used pcut and sold my first job shortly after. It keeps me releaxed and maybe one day it can be my full time job.  ;D

First Gulf War Vet served my country, 5 years USN Seabees.  Then 3 years as an Electrician, Then for the past 15 years I have been working in a major semiconductor company as a system Admin for Unix servers.  Very good paying job, but after 15 years I am sick of it and ready for something new, so last year I purchased my uscutter and have been doing decals for schools and selling online, still have the Sys Admin. job as it pays the bills.  Hope one day that my cutter will take over that part. Hopefully in about 1 to 2 years i will be able to leave my sys admin job and be my own boss.... YEAAAA...

The most important job I have is taking care of my twins a few days a week. Other than that, I make signs for a living...Not the greatest job in the world but it pays the bills and I get to make my own hours.

I've had the same job for 34 years: middle school teacher. Retired in 2000, but stayed to teach half a day and still draw my retirement. I'm going back to full time teaching for the next 2 years, then really retiring for good from teaching. Oklahoma just in the past year allowed teachers to continue teaching after retirement. Before this year, you were limited to part time teaching, or you would lose your retirement $$$.  LOVE THAT RETIREMENT CHECK!  I've also run an embroidery/engraving business since 1996 and do shows. Just built a shop next to my house for retail sales. Just need to get a few signs up around town ,and it's ready for business....We'll see how that goes and might change my second year teaching plans. Love playing and learning with the cutter!

I'm the warehouse manager and facilities coordinator for a Moving company and a volunteer Firefighter. Hoping to become a paid one soon and start a part-time business with my cutter. Only been using it for a month so far and already done 2 small paying jobs. And have a pretty good one lined up for August when school starts back up.

How did I miss this posting?  Anyway, I am a Registered Nurse and I manage an Urgent Care Center in southern Indiana.  I got interested in stick people and wall words and you know the rest of the story . .  I just had to buy my own cutter, Pcut.  I just love it.  I can spend hours on this board, searching for vectors and cutting.  I just got two window lettering orders (yippee) one for an Insurance company and the other for a local Fazoli's restaurant.  I have soooooo much to learn and so little time.  Everyday I can't wait to get home from work to get online and see what's new with all of you.  I don't post much but I am always watching this wild and crazy bunch. You all are awesome. Thanks for all you do to help us newbies.

Helicopter pilot/mechanic and FAA repair station supervisor.  I ride MX as a hobby and got into cutting to make decals for friends bikes.  My next investment is going to be a printer so I can make full graphics sets for motorcycles hopefully it will pay off someday but if not its fun to create things

I own 2 small businesses; an antique mall and a boutique consignment shop. I stumbled into this about a year ago when I was looking to order more vinyl signs for my 1st store. And of course, that led to wanting quotes for the walls in my house. Started looking at the cricut machines at Walmart and almost bought one a couple of times, but hesitated until I finally found these machines. In the beginning, I couldn't justify the expense. But it finally dawned on me that if I liked them so much, others would too - and I had the built-in advantage of a steady traffic flow already. Now, the "wall words" part is a growing part of business. Brings me new customers all the time.

Site excavation foreman .... Shaping the World, One Bucket at a Time.... were working now,l but bidding is few and far between and REAL competitive. Screen printing and signs has helped and if it slows down will be a larger part of my income.

Night Excretement Flow Specialist assigned to monitor and control product egress in an orderly fashion while maintaining expedient discharge in wastewater treatment.  It was the pension that drew me to the occupation, but I've since grown to appreciate this career choice. Even in these times, the business has experienced phenomenal growth rates with minimal risk of pooping out.
